Sacred History Technologies provides a digital platform for communities of women religious to preserve, organize, and share the stories and histories of their members. Our services include member profile management, interactive mapping, community pages, and related digital preservation tools designed to keep community heritage living, accessible, and formative.
Our platform supports two types of access:
Account holders are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. You agree to notify Sacred History Technologies immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
All community-provided content—including member stories, photographs, historical records, and other materials—remains the property of the contributing community. Sacred History Technologies does not claim ownership of any community-provided content. Our role is to help you preserve, organize, and make that information accessible and useful for formation, leadership, and the future.
The specific terms governing how Sacred History Technologies works with each community's content are outlined in a separate service agreement between Sacred History Technologies and that community.
When using our platform, you agree not to:
The Sacred History Technologies platform—including its design, code, branding, and original content—is the intellectual property of Sacred History Technologies, LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on our platform without our prior written consent. Community-provided content remains the property of the respective community as outlined above.
Sacred History Technologies provides the platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the availability, accuracy, or completeness of the platform or its content.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sacred History Technologies, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform for any user who violates these terms. Either party may terminate the relationship in accordance with any applicable service agreement. Upon termination, Sacred History Technologies will work with the community to ensure the return or secure deletion of community-provided content, as outlined in the service agreement.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Wisconsin.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
